Ralph Lauren — “Play to Win”

Since 1967, Ralph Lauren has defined American style through timeless, confident menswear. It’s a brand built on aspiration — but over time, that aspiration has begun to skew traditional rather than forward.

The Problem

Ralph Lauren is respected, but increasingly perceived as safe and heritage-bound, creating distance from a new generation of ambitious, style-driven men.

The Idea

Reposition Ralph Lauren as the uniform of the modern strategist — the man who plays to win.

Through a bold OOH and print campaign, we use the visual language of chess to represent power, intelligence, and calculated ambition. Each image frames the wearer as a player in control — not following trends, but setting them.

This campaign speaks to the ambitious riser: a man who moves with purpose, thinks several steps ahead, and dresses accordingly.

Ralph Lauren isn’t just timeless — it’s strategic.
